Autumn News

Its been a bit quiet over the last couple of months due to a couple of last minute unforeseen exhibition cancellations but autumn approaches and a couple of new developments have arisen. Firstly Manchester based rock band 'Darktown Jubilee' have decided to use one of my 'October Rust' paintings for the cover of their debut album. Secondly in January 2012 I will be exhibiting a number of works in a small solo exhibition at Bollington Arts Centre (near Macclesfield). New paintings at Revolve gallery

Ive just delivered 8 new paintings to the 'Revolve Gallery' in Clitheroe (http://www.revolvegallery.co.uk/), just in time to coincide (not intentionally mind) with both the 'Clitheroe Food Festival' and the galleries own first anniversary bash. Im sure over the few days jpegs of the new work will go up on Revolve's website and facebook page but until then heres a little peek at a couple of pieces.

After what seems to have been a relatively quiet few months I have London Bus Syndrome again ie: no exhibitions for 6 months and then a bucketful come all at once!!!

As with last year I have had a painting accepted for this West Lancs. Open (above)at the Chapel Gallery, Ormskirk;

This is my third year exhibiting there and its always been a great exhibition to see.

As well as the 'Open' I will also be showing at a space in New Mills called 'Art Lounge' ( at the Beehive), more details about this can be found at www.facebook.com/ArtLounge ,
further to this I will showing a work next year in a charity auction (again details of which will appear on their facebook page www.facebook.com/#!KWC.Art.with.a.Heart). so all in all a busy couple of months coming up!!!

I also have a couple of exhibitions scheduled for 2012 as well as a few other ventures but Im going to concentrate at the job at hand before posting details of these!! Cheerio!!

End of the year.

Well another show ends and with it comes the end of another year. I am currently speaking to a number of venues regarding shows in 2011/12 and will post any further news ASAP. Until then I have a few more pics kindly sent by the curator at the Harris Museum to upload and the news that I have a small selection of work that available to view and buy at the newly opened 'Revolve' gallery in the rather lovely town of Clitheroe. Revolve Gallery New Location

The 'Revolve' gallery (formerly based in 'The Triangle' in Manchester city centre) has opened its doors in its new location in Clitheroe,Lancs.
