Revolve Gallery Showcase at 'GCasino' Manchester

I will be taking part in the above evening organised by Sophia Butler on Thursday 2nd April between 7-9pm with hopefully a few more opportunities arising with this newly opened gallery in the near future. It looks like a very exciting and potentially massive venture for the Manchester contemporary art scene so fingers crossed for success for 'revolve'!!! more info can be found on its fledgling website:

Christmas Presence - Bridewell Gallery

The exhibition is on from 6 -19 Dec with a special opening event being held on Saturday 6th between 11am and 4pm, where there is a Christmas market featuring a wide range of locally produced art, craft and festive goods!!
As well as the exhibition, the bridewells resident artists will have their studios open with food and mulled wine available and music to entertain. Sounds like a good enough reason to get to Liverpool to me!!!!
Remember this gallery has had conections with some of the art and music worlds leading names so you never know you may pick up a bargain??

Well another year draws to a close and with it opens the season for Autumn and Winter 'Open Exhibitions'. ..the private view is on 31st October between 7-9pm, although im sure its not necessary to have an invite. Why not pop along?

The other exhibition I have work in is Sale's 'Waterside Arts Centre' Winter Exhibition and Auction. I will be showing the piece 'Untitled', this will probably be the last time I will show the work so if you want to check it out, pop along. At the end of the exhibition on December 4th there will be an auction of all pieces in the show, which could be very exciting. Tickets for this auction are free and available from the Waterside box office. For further info on the show, how to get there and opening times, look at :

Sefton Open 2008

Here is a pic of my work at this years 'Sefton Open' at the 'Atkinson Gallery' in Southport. As expected all the work was of an excellent standard and with over 2000 entries (more than this years 'Bloomberg New Contemporaries' and not far behind the 'John Moores') it was fantastic to get shortlisted.

Sefton Open September - November 2008

Although nothing has been set in stone for any future gallery shows, I have a piece of work ('The Land of the Dead' pictured on the left) which has been accepted for the annual 'Sefton Open' at the Atkinson Gallery in Southport. Whenever I have seen previous shows the work displayed has always been of an excellent standard and Im sure this year will be no different!! Details on how to get there and opening times can be found at the web address below. Hope you can make it.
